Honesty - Best Policy!
Since I have some experience with this site, I figure I should offer this advice....Since it seems to need to be said. I have met (in real life)a few of the women that I have contacted on this site. I also know of a few other people that have met people through this site. Now, you would think this would be common sense, but it seems that it isn't. When you are describing yourself to someone who has contacted you or you have contacted, DO NOT LIE! Especially if you plan to meet this person face to face. Believe it or not, some people actually don't care about looks. I am one of those people. I am not shallow enough to choose a person based upon physical appearance. But if you lie about how you look, I am not going to be interested any longer once the truth comes out. If you will lie about that, what else will you lie about? Honesty is truly the best policy. That concept applies to more than just describing your physical appearance. If you lie, the truth will eventually come out...And you may destroy any possibility that may have existed for any type of relationship. I joined a couple of dating sites before finding this one.... It always amazes me how few people can actually be honest and up front about sex!!! Outside of this site, people seem to tell you what they think is socially acceptable... But OMG you can't talk about it up front...LOL So you trade some e-mails/phone calls, meet up with them for a drink, and end up in bed. Most really aren't looking for loving relationship that was on their profile... They were all about one thing. It cracks me up!!! Why beat around the bush? If that's what you want, don't worry what society is going to say...Slut...Whore...Whatever! Just remember... The people who mind don't matter, and the people that matter...Won't mind! |
